When we started going to Sthaan in 1980s, we wanted to take pictures of Guruji and keep them with us. One day we went to Sthaan with a camera and with the thought that we will click Guruji’s photographs. All of us including my parents and siblings took photographs with Him and also clicked Guruji’s separate photos.
In those times there were no digital cameras so after a few days we gave the negatives for developing and waited eagerly for the photos. The photos finally came…. all of them except the ones taken at Sthaan. We were eagerly waiting for Guruji’s photos and so were a bit disappointed on not finding them. We then saw the negatives. They were not blank… (as we could see Guruji’s photos in the negatives)…. how was it then, that they couldn’t be developed. We again went to the studio and asked the person to redevelop the photos. We waited again but this time the negatives were lost by the studio and we could not get those photos. It is was a very unusual incident. Things like these don’t happen at Studios but we understood that day that even His photos cannot be clicked if He does not so desire. It is said, “jo hota hai malik ki ichcha se hota hai” Jai Gurudev.
