This happened during my stay in the USA. I was unloading a container of Granite Slabs. The Fork Lift driver pulled out a slab from the container and after unloading it reversed it. Unfortunately, he had not harnessed the boom with the forklift blades and it slid off and fell down from a height of approx 7′. I was standing under it and the boom fell on my head and knocked me out. Just so u know it usually weighs over half a ton and can crush a person to pulp. I regained consciousness after few minutes and felt no pain. Assuming I was obviously dead I tried to talk to the workers around me n was surprised when they replied back..(Believe you me..It wasn’t funny then). Everyone wanted to call 911 and rush me to emergency. I asked them not to call and got up and tried to see where I was hurt. There was nothing..like I had not had a fall at all.. but my head was swelling up on the right side of my skull and was alarmingly getting visibly bigger. I knew then, that any minute I could lose my speech, eyesight, consciousness or … life..! I decided to talk to Mataji while I could and called right away. She was in Kolkata.
She answered in her soothing calm voice and I broke down. She asked me why I was crying and after I told her.. she calmly said.. ‘koi gal nahin.. ghar ja ke haldi ka doodh pe le’. I mentioned the swelling on my head and asked her to touch it and bless with both her hands and she said ‘A le’. Would you believe..I unloaded the rest of the container, drove myself home..no scratches.. with my clothes in place.. no bruises..nothing. No one spoke after that.. my workers were scared. I came home, had haldi & milk and went to sleep. Next morning I woke up and was shocked at what I saw.. I was over 60% black and blue all over and look severely bruised under the skin. There was a bump on my ankle and my spine (a little bigger than a golf ball) and it stayed for over 4 months. My left upper arm was 80% blue. I was shocked to see myself and even more shocked to see that there was NO BLOOD AND NO PAIN AT ALL..!!!!!!!! My head had gone back to its normal size but I couldnt touch it..it hurt when I touched it..but if I didnt.. I was perfectly fine and in no pain. Despite my the bump on my ankle..I wore high heels (using stockings to conceal it). The following day my routine was normal as though nothing had ever happened. Such is Ma’s simplicity.. such is her Grace.. such is her protection.. and such is her love.. There are no scars or bumps from that accident..even the jean and tee I wore are okay..The only thing that stayed with me are my tears.. not from any pain.. but from knowing that she is there and she loves me.

“Weather or whether” – Narrated By Vandana Sekhri
Early this year, I was driving through the Red Mountain Pass (Colorado) and forgot to check the weather. Just so you know its a nerve wrecking road. Y’kno wht happens next right.. here I am.. in the middle of the mountain pass.. and it starts snowing. Here’s a link to show you how it looks..http://www.mountainphotographe?r.com/impromptu-rescue-on-red-?mountain-pass/. Anyway, to cut the story short.. my car started to skid and wouldnt stop. I tried everything in my power..and saw my car totally out of my control. Well.. said my last prayers and called out to Mataji and prayed to her to take care of my kids.. n suddenly.. my car.. just.. STOPPED..!! It just stopped moving. I took few deep breaths n tried to accelerate n maneuvered the car and there I was.. I safely reached my destination.. and THROUGHOUT the journey I could feel Mataji’s presence in my car. And.. I remembered what Charu reminded me once.. Bapu once said..‘Tumhare ird gird se kitne toofan nikal jaate hain.. mein tumein pata bhi lagne nahin deta’.. Aise hain ye.. do minute akela nahin chhorte. Salutations.
Maalik ke vishwaas aur samarpan ke sailaab mein kitne toofaan nikal jaate hain sach mein ptaa hee nahin chaltaa………..
Awesome !!! Keep them coming !!!
