I want to share a small but very meaningful experience with you all. It was during the month of May 2011 when my family planned a trip to Shirdi,Nasikand Nander Sahib. Everything thing was arranged and the train tickets were booked. We were scheduled to leave by a train called ‘Goa Express’ and it’s scheduled departure time was 01:20 p.m. The program was elaborately charted out and we decided to leave home at 12:00 in the afternoon for the station so that we reach comfortably and in time.
At 11:30 a.m. my mother called my father who was still in his office but came to know that due to some unforeseen and urgent work, he might get a bit delayed. As the clock was approaching 12:00 p.m. my mother’s anxiousness was increasing. She again called him but got the same answer. My father told her that he will have to finish the pending work at all costs. He said he will come very soon and all of us should be ready to move. As the clock approached 12:30 and then 12:45, the tension of missing the train was catching up with all of us. We made repeated calls to my father who finally said that he has left office and heading home. At 01:00 p.m. my mother declared that since he has still not reached home, it is impossible to catch the train since we can not reach the station in 15 – 20 minutes at any cost.
Now, confusion started building up. Should we even attempt to go to the station at all. Should we just drop the program. I don’t know what happened to me but I just ran in front of Guruji’s Roop and lit a ‘Dhoop’. I closed my eyes and prayed to Guruji that I really want to go on this trip and PLEASE don’t let us miss this train. When I opened my eyes I heard my mother’s voice. She was calling me to come quickly as my father had returned and we should rush. It was already around 01:10 p.m. by then (and the train’s departure time was 01:20 p.m).
We immediately left home, but there was a huge traffic jam on the way. The clock was ticking away minutes. It was past 01:45 p.m. and we were still a good distance away from the station. All the time I was praying and praying and praying. Finally, we reached at about 02:00 p.m. My father asked a coolie if the train had left. To our surprise, the coolie replied, “Go fast, the train is still at the platform but be really fast as it may leave any minute”. We all started rushing towards the platform and I was praying that “Guruji, jab yahan tak pahunchaya hai, to ab train tak bhi Aap hi pahuncha dena”. We ran and reached the platform and to our pleasent surprise…. the train was there. Even though it was supposed to depart on time – it was right there in front of us. I thanked Guruji in my mind and we all entered the train. As soon as we moved with our luggage towards our seats, the train started moving and left the platform.
I had tears in my eyes. My family members asked me to stop crying but nobody knew that I was not actually crying. Those were tears…… the tears of happiness in my eyes. I was SO thankful to Guruji for everything. After some time I took ‘Jal’ (which I always carry with me, when I’m going out) and felt totally relaxed. Our entire trip was so memorable and just wonderful with His Blessings.
He is always is with us when we call him with a true heart. GURU JI, we always need your Blessings and Kripa in all part of our life and each and every moment. Please continue to shower your Blessings on us.
