This incident happened on the 15th of November 2012. I am staying in Pune & have a shop there. On the 15th November (2012), being a holiday for Bhai Dhooj, I thought of going to my shop instead of sitting at home. Thought I will just put Dhoop, sit there for some time & come back home. At around 4.30 or maybe 5 pm I pulled down the shutter & left for my house which is about 12 kms from there. I travel on a Honda Eterno scooter which is a manual gear kick start engine. It has no fuel indicator just a petrol corque which has to be turned on/off/reserve, as the need maybe. After I fill petrol I make sure I turn it to the “On” position. I don’t remember how… but I made this mistake that when I filled petrol the last time, I forgot to put it to “On”. I rode the bike for a few days not knowing when the petrol level in the tank dropped to reserve & when it got over. So on the 15th when I was returning home the bike suddenly stopped. I thought the petrol has come in reserve. I stopped the bike to turn the corque to “Reserve”. It was then that I realized my mistake. It was already in “Reserve”. I opened the tank cover to my horror. The tank was empty & the nearest petrol pump was at least a good 5 km from where I was stranded. I prayed to GURUJI that indeed it was my mistake but please give me the strength to drag it for 5 km as nowadays pump owners do not give petrol in cans or bottles. I started dragging the bike & I had dragged it for about half a km only, when a couple on a Hero Honda motor-cycle overtook me, went a little ahead, took a U turn & came back towards me asking “kya hua bhaisahab petrol Khatam ho gaya?” I told them about the mistake I had made. The Man told me “Koi baat nahin aisi galti hum se bhi hoti hai kabhi kabhi”. He told me to open the fuel tank. I thought he must be having some petrol in a bottle or something though it seemed impossible but in such times the heart is willing to believe anything. He asked if I have something to fill petrol in my bike to which I replied “No”. He then told me to go to a ‘bania’ shop on the opposite side of the road & buy a plastic glass. I did that. He then pulled out the petrol pipe from the corque of his bike & filled half the glass I had bought & told me to put it in my bike. I did that & my bike started. When I was paying him the money for the petrol, he said “yeh maine paison ke liye nahin kiya. Aisi galti humse bhi hoti hai” He did not even let me know his name & just drove off. What do we call this? In a city where people don’t generally bother, even to look at such things, this person behaves in this manner. Not only he sees me, but comes back even after crossing me. This is not the gesture of an ordinary human. It is definitely a Sevadar sent by our MASTER to help me when I needed HIM. A Thousand PRANAM’S to YOU GURUJI.
