My association with Guruji goes a long way back and when I look back in time… in those precious moments spent with Guruji in His Physical form some awe inspiring incidents come to mind. I am sharing one of them here:
It was one of the Bada Guruwaars and Sewa was going on at the Sector 7 Sthaan in Gurgaon as it always used to happen. Hundreds or probably thousands of Devotees were patiently standing in more than a kilometer long queue waiting to have Guruji’s Darshan and to receive his Blessings.
All of a sudden dark clouds appeared in the sky and it seemed as if it would start raining heavily. One of the sewadaars’ came running inside to inform Guruji of this development. He raised his concern to Guruji, that in the event of a down-pour (which looked certain), there was a strong likelihood of the public running for shelter, which could result in a lot of disruption and possibly a stampede which could injure them. Apart from men and women there were a lot of children standing in the line too.
Receiving this information, Guruji remained absolutely calm and composed. He called me to His room said, “Ja, bahar ja kar aasmaan ko dekh aur apne mann mein baadlon ko bol de ki yahan na barsein. zara aas-pass baras lein, taaki yahan public pareshan na ho.”
(“Go out, look at the sky and tell the clouds, silently in your heart, to pour in the nearby areas and not here so that the public here does not get disturbed”.)
After a few minutes, the sewadaar informed that it was raining very heavily beyond a 2-3 km. radius. The public, however, enjoyed the cool weather, with hardly a drop of water falling on them.
There are innumerable such examples, when Param Pujya Guruji exhibited his control over nature. He also had the used to say, Main samay ka paband nahin, samay mera paband hai” (“I am not bound by time; in fact, time is bound by me”), and he proved this claim on many occasions. In one of his lighter moods, he also once mentioned, “patta bhi nahi hill sakta, meri ejazat ke bagair”. (“Not a leaf can move without my permission).
Such was the stature of Guruji and I am truly blessed to have been in His Sharan as His Shishya.
Amazing.
