“I was sleeping but Guruji was awake to take care” – Narrated by Swati Bajpai

Though our lives are filled with examples of the Grace of Guruji everyday, I am sharing a small incident with you which clearly indicates the amount of care He takes for us in our everyday life. Yesterday night my husband left for Gorakhpur from Lucknow. While going to sleep I prayed to Guruji if He could get me awake by 3:30 am so that I can call my husband to check if he has reached safely.

I had also set an an alarm for 3:30 am, but my sleep broke suddenly at 3:00 am. I saw the time and slept, thinking that will get up after half an hour but within hardly 5-6 minutes my sleep broke off again. I again slept and again it repeated.

Finally I called by husband at 3:15 am only thinking that now if I sleep I would certainly not get up by 3:30 am. After knowing his well being I again slept and immediately the light went off!!

I got up to switch on the fan when I felt water on the ground, thinking that my daughter would have spilled it I went to bed but as I slept I saw that some thing is causing water to come in my room and my sleep broke again in 3-4 minutes.

I thought that Guruji is probably guiding me to correct something wrong that is happening, so I rushed to check if that water was coming from the balcony but it wasn’t coming from there. Then I switched on the lights to check and found that the water was dripping out of one of the walls probably due to some problem in our neighbour’s house as it was a common wall.

I was feeling so sleepy that I just somehow moved off the carpet etc which was getting wet and unable to think anything else went back to sleep saying, “Guruji, yeh barish rok do morning tak”. But again as I closed my eyes I was awakened. This was abnormal as it never happens when I am so drowsy. I got up and realized that by moving things I have given way to water to flow in.

I then put a towel there on the ground and once again went to back to sleep. Still my sleep was breaking every minute as if someone is actually not allowing me to sleep.

I finally got up switched on the lights and looked around the room carefully. What I saw really scared me. I saw that the water which had already dripped into my room was going under the bags in which I had kept my sample jars (of my new product). I had labelled all the jars the previous evening for distribution and had they been there for even a few more minutes, the water would have surely spoilt all of them.

I immediately removed them from there, to a safe and dry place and then went back to bed and then, slept till morning, without any disturbance.

Thank you Guruji for being around me and making me walk through all problems. I was asleep but Guruji woke me up to take care of my valuables as water was dripping. Another thing, when I was not understanding the problem even after being so restless, he made me see in my dream that water is dripping in.

I missed out on thinking of safeguarding my things but he ensured that I take care of the products from being damaged by water. I was going back to sleep like a little child and my father worried for me… was waking me up gently to alert me of the problem that would had arisen, had I kept sleeping.

This may seem like a small thing but those sample jars were precious for me and I normally don’t get up like this at night. Am blessed that my life is filled with such incidents big and small which keep making me aware of HIS presence in our lives.
