“My son got admission in the school we dreamt for” – Narrated by Rajiv Ramesh Thakur (UAE)

JAI GURUDEV

We (my 2.5yrs old son, my wife and myself) reside in the UAE.

We stay in one end of Dubai (known as Discovery Gardens).  Here there are very limited options for school as there are only two schools nearby. All the other schools are very far off.

My son (Praney) was blessed to us by GURUJI. We (my wife and myself) were quite tensed about his schooling as he was turning two years and we wanted him to start school at the age 3+. My wife spoke to various other residents in this area. All of them told her, not to apply in one school. Keep at least three options for you never know where he can get admission.

Trying in one school only and not looking for other options was like taking a chance on our child’s career by one year, because in case if that one school didn’t work out, then admissions would begin after a year. we tried in the other school which was nearby but they said that the admissions for them begin only in April for next year. We were afraid that in case this second school which starts admission in April did not work out we would miss the oppurtunity of the first school where the admissions starts much earlier.

All the other schools were quite far and we were not comfortable with our son travelling so far. We just prayed to GURUJI saying “GURUJI, we are surrendering our problem at your feet”

With this prayer we filled in the application form at that school only along with a non refundable deposit. This was in the month of November’2013. In mid of February’2014, my wife received a call from one of her friends’ saying that the school (where we applied for our child) have sent an email to parents for an interview as they had also applied for their son. They were also called for an interview whose son is the same age as that of ours.

When we checked our emails for the past two months, we never received any email. We were under the impression that may be our child was not selected for that school. My wife and I were worried knowing this. Next day, the registrar from the school called me saying that the interview date sent through email before has been re-scheduled. I answered to that call saying that there was never any email received. She confirmed me the email ID on the phone, although it being correct surprisingly no email was received earlier.

The registrar did not tell me the new interview date for our child and told me to keep on checking the email regularly. I called up my wife and told her to go to the school and just get an alternate email id and contact number updated so that we do not miss the next interview date. She went along with her friend whose interview was scheduled for the same day. She met the registrar and gave her the alternate email ID and contact numbers based on her discussion with me.

To a surprise, she said that since you have come with your child, he can be interviewed right now. My wife was taken aback as suddenly an interview and no preparations at all. She called me and informed me about it. I pacified her and told her to be calm and pray to GURUJI and things will be taken care. After 5 minutes, two examiners came to interview our child. One of them saw the Kada in my child’s hand and asked what is this?. He mentioned “this is JAI JAI BABA”

They asked him few more questions which our child answered and some went incorrect. Until the results were being declared, we were very nervous about it. After few minutes, the registrar came to my wife and told her that your child needs to go a playschool before he joins here as they found him to be very attached to his mother.

Listening to this, my wife was sure that our son did not clear the interview. Then came in the miraculous role of our “GURUJI” with the registrar informing us “Welcome to the school to Mstr. Praney Thakur”. Listening to this my wife was spell bound and absolutely surprised. She called me instantly and told me that our child cleared the interview.

To sum up, we applying for one school, not receiving an email, a friend calling up and informing the receipt of email, call from registrar of postponing the interview, my wife going to the school just for getting the email ID and contact numbers updated, unanticipated interview being conducted and finally clearing the interview. All of these activities were nothing just planned by GURUJI. It is rightly said that if you leave your worries at GURUJI’s feet and just believe in Him, He will take care of everything and give you the best. SHAT SHAT PRANAAM GURUDEV
